+++ This Blessing List is now closed. Please sign up here to receive blessings again next week. See you there! +++
Thanks to everybody who signed up this week – may these blessings bring you good things!
Once a week, on Wednesday, I send blessings to everybody who has requested them for the current week.
The process is simple:
If you would like to be included in the blessings, leave a comment to the current blessing post by Tuesday at the latest.
I will perform the blessing ceremony at some point on Wednesday, and send blessings to everybody who has left a comment by Tuesday.*
All times listed are in German time (i.e. EST+6, apart from the few weeks a year when the US switches to and from daylight savings at a different time than Germany). Please plan accordingly.
I will only send blessings to the people who have explicitly requested them in a comment to the current week’s blessing post. I.e. if you would like to receive blessings again next week, you will need to comment again.
You can also request blessings for other people (or, for that matter, for pets, plants, …) – as long as you have their explicit consent, or you are their rightful “guardian” (e.g. parents for their underage kids; legal caretakers for people with dementia; owners of pets or gardens for their pets or gardens; …).
So… if you would like to receive my blessings this upcoming Wednesday, or if you have any questions, please leave a comment below!
You can use your real name, a nickname of your choice, or comment anonymously.
About the blessing itself: During the ceremony, I send a “generic” blessing to everybody on the list, which also includes intentions for health, protection, and divine guidance. For those who have a relationship with a specific deity or deities, I respectfully ask for blessings from their respective deities during this general part of the cermony, too.
(If you don’t feel comfortable sharing your personal religious beliefs on a public forum, there is no need to list them. I trust that your personal deities will know who you are and will, hopefully, respond favourably to this general request. 🙂 )
If there is anything in particular you’d like me to focus on, you can add that to your comment (in just a few words, please!). I will then include this intention specifically for you, but also keep you in the general blessing.**
And if you’d like to know more about the blessings first, you can read the behind-the-scenes-take here – but don’t forget to come back and sign up afterwards! 🙂
One final note: I’ll do my best to approve comments in a timely manner, but I am not glued to my screen. It might occasionally take a day or two for your comment to be approved. Thanks for your patience!
* I’m not dogmatic about this deadline. The Tuesday cutoff is simply to make sure I see your blessings in time, and they will be included for sure. Any comments left after midnight on Tuesday (German time) might or might not be read before the blessing, and might or might not be included.
** I’m not a physician or other health professional. If you have any health issues you’d like me to include, I’m happy to add them – but please remember that a blessing by a random stranger on the internet does not replace a competent medical treatment. Just sayin’…

Will do, and thanks! 🙂

Please include me in the blessings! what a nice practice! I am an older lady, last living member of my family; I have read JMG off and on for 20 years, try to live fairly simply, but am surrounded by people caught up in consumerism and unlimited growth.
Regine says
Hi Cindy,
I‘ll gladly include you. Thanks for giving me the chance to do so!

Greetings from the Nickel, Regine! It’s been quite a week. I am certain it was better than it would’ve been thanks to your blessing work. 🙂
Shirleen continues to do well. In fact, it’s interesting how her current living situation is a sort of “life review” for her: one of her housemates, unfortunately suffering from dementia, is the widow of a man my late father worked with. My parents were friends with him and his wife decades ago. Also, my mother has a difficult relationship with the Mormon church, having been raised in it and rejected it ages ago. It still makes her furious. So of course another roommate is Mormon. My late brother was developmentally disabled/handicapped, and the adult child of this Mormon roommate is as well. Three synchronicities! What a world, eh?
Sister Vicki is quite ill with a respiratory bug, to the point of saying she wanted to die last week. She’s a bit better now, I hear, but as interactions with my family can be a bit like herding cats, it’s hard to say.
A general blessing would be gratefully received by all. Both sisters have remarked several times that they admire and appreciate what you do, although I doubt they beam into your weekly blessing list to eyeball what’s up.
Thanks as always, and may you be blessed as well!
Valerie, Trevor, Shirleen, Vanessa, and Vicki
Regine says
Hey Valerie,
Great to have you back! 🙂
These are indeed weird coincidences. I’m glad to hear Shirleen is doing well. Sorry to hear about Vicki, though. Respiratory stuff can be really nasty. ;-( I hope she’ll be well again soon!
Thanks for your kinds words, and I’ll gladly include the lot of you again this week, 🙂

V.O.G says
Hello Regine!
Thank you for your blessings! I would like to be included in this week’s again, if I may.
And as always I offer mine in return to you, if you’d like them!
A quick datapoint: you did a blessing for me a few weeks ago that included some focus on relationships. Well, a lovely person has surfaced in my life, but distance, complex circumstances, and other aspects of the relationship conspire to make it impossible-seeming. A blessing on helping me navigate this wisely, compassionately, and with appropriate perspective would be most appreciated, whether it requires a different (as-yet-unseen?) tack to resolve or just the peace of letting it go as a pleasant but passing gift on our way toward fulfillment via other avenues.
Regine says
Hi V.O.G.,
Welcome back! 🙂 And yes, I‘d welcome your blessings in return.
Thanks also for the data point. I‘ll include that in the blessing, and I also hope that however things develop, you‘ll get a wonderful relationship.

hi there
Can I be included in the blessings please? The general blessing would be lovely, and could you also include blessing to help me with abating the anxiety I feel at the moment? Thanks in advance!

Of course, and thanks for signing up! 🙂

If there’s still time, please add me to the list. Thank you.
Regine says
Hi A,
Unfortunately, I had already done the blessing before you posted the comment. You‘re very welcome to sign up for next week, though (the link is at the top of this page).
In general, I try to add a „this blessing list is now closed“ message to the top of the page before I do the blessing, to let people know. I can‘t guarantee this will always be the case, but if you refresh the page and it shows said message at the top, it‘s too late for the current week.
