+++ This Blessing List is now closed. Please sign up here to receive blessings again next week. See you there! +++
Thanks to everybody who signed up this week – may these blessings bring you good things!
Once a week, on Wednesday, I send blessings to everybody who has requested them for the current week.
The process is simple:
If you would like to be included in the blessings, leave a comment to the current blessing post by Tuesday at the latest.
I will perform the blessing ceremony at some point on Wednesday, and send blessings to everybody who has left a comment by Tuesday.*
All times listed are in German time (i.e. EST+6, apart from the few weeks a year when the US switches to and from daylight savings at a different time than Germany). Please plan accordingly.
I will only send blessings to the people who have explicitly requested them in a comment to the current week’s blessing post. I.e. if you would like to receive blessings again next week, you will need to comment again.
You can also request blessings for other people (or, for that matter, for pets, plants, …) – as long as you have their explicit consent, or you are their rightful “guardian” (e.g. parents for their underage kids; legal caretakers for people with dementia; owners of pets or gardens for their pets or gardens; …).
So… if you would like to receive my blessings this upcoming Wednesday, or if you have any questions, please leave a comment below!
You can use your real name, a nickname of your choice, or comment anonymously.
About the blessing itself: During the ceremony, I send a “generic” blessing to everybody on the list, which also includes intentions for health, protection, and divine guidance. For those who have a relationship with a specific deity or deities, I respectfully ask for blessings from their respective deities during this general part of the cermony, too.
(If you don’t feel comfortable sharing your personal religious beliefs on a public forum, there is no need to list them. I trust that your personal deities will know who you are and will, hopefully, respond favourably to this general request. 🙂 )
If there is anything in particular you’d like me to focus on, you can add that to your comment (in just a few words, please!). I will then include this intention specifically for you, but also keep you in the general blessing.**
And if you’d like to know more about the blessings first, you can read the behind-the-scenes-take here – but don’t forget to come back and sign up afterwards! 🙂
One final note: I’ll do my best to approve comments in a timely manner, but I am not glued to my screen. It might occasionally take a day or two for your comment to be approved. Thanks for your patience!
* I’m not dogmatic about this deadline. The Tuesday cutoff is simply to make sure I see your blessings in time, and they will be included for sure. Any comments left after midnight on Tuesday (German time) might or might not be read before the blessing, and might or might not be included.
** I’m not a physician or other health professional. If you have any health issues you’d like me to include, I’m happy to add them – but please remember that a blessing by a random stranger on the internet does not replace a competent medical treatment. Just sayin’…

Hi Regine
Firstly, I’d like to disclose some past details… I didn’t tell it here, but about two months ago I suffered an accident that, although certainly of fateful/divine nature, had a great impact in many aspects of my life. Your blessings in former weeks helped me with all that, and I am very thankful.
Even though I am much better now, there is still some recovery to be done, so if you could include me in this week’s blessings, I’d greatly appreciate it.
Best regards,
Natalia
Regine says
Hi Natalia,
Thanks for sharing! I‘m glad to hear you‘re much better, and that the blessings have a positive impact. Alas, „of divine nature“ isn‘t always the same as „easy to bear“…
I‘ll happily include you again, of course. 🙂

Justin Patrick Moore says
Hi Maxine,
I will take another general blessing if you don’t mind. Also, if you could include my mother-in-law, who has cognitive impairment, though not full blown dementia, that would be great. She is very much in my wife and I’s care, though, more of the burden falls on my wife. That of course, effects both of us.
Thanks for your good words last week.
Regine says
Hi Justin,
Sure. I assume you wouldn’t ask if your wife was set against blessings of this kind for her mom. 😉 We‘ve cared for elderly relatives before, too, and it doesn‘t take a legal document to be the practical caretaker who has to make the everyday decisions.
Btw, it‘s „Regine“ – not that I mind. It‘s a rare week when I don‘t either forget somebody‘s name, or address them with the wrong one… 😀
All the best to you, and I hope y‘all are having a good week,
Regine
Justin Moore says
Regine, …Regine… I am so sorry about getting your name wrong.
Please accept my apologies. Well, my wife might not feel like giving her Mom a blessing on some days. My mother-in-law isn’t always the easiest to deal with! So I’ll leave it up to you whether you want to include her or not. Either way is fine. Sorry if this is too late.
Thanks again!
Regine says
Hi Justin,
No worries at all – seriously! I thought about whether I should mention it at all. But then I figured that finding it out in three months or so would be even worse, so… 😀
I‘ve already done the blessing in the morning (German time), and I‘ve included your mother-in-law. But as I said, we‘ve cared for elderly relatives, too (some highly demented), and I can relate to these feelings. On the other hand, just because on some days one is tempted to pack them up and ship them to the South Pole doesn‘t mean that we don‘ want the best for them…
If you‘d like blessings again next week, for yourself and/or your mother-in-law (or of course if your wife wants any for herself!), I‘ve already put up the post for next week:
All the best to you,
Regine

Hi Regine!
Please include my kitten Kitty in your blessings. She just had stomach surgery for grit in her stomach. Thank you! Please include me too. This has been emotionally rough. Thank you!
Regine says
Hi Michele,
Oh dear, the poor thing. Will do, and all the best to both of you, and a speedy recovery!

V.O.G says
Hi Regine,
I’d love a blessing this week, please and thank you! If I can ask for specific blessings in the area of being brought together with, being right for / making myself right for, and successfully attracting a romantic lady partner with whom we are both as ideal for each other as possible (e.g., while I don’t believe in “the one” I certainly would like “an optimal one for me, as I for her”), I would be especially appreciative. I’m perfectly willing to consider that I have things I need to accept, change, or otherwise take responsibility for on my end in this as well, so if the blessing can incorporate help/success in seeing those aspects of me clearly and understanding/making the necessary adjustments, it would be most welcome as well.
I offer my blessings in abundance in return to you, if you will have them!
Respectfully and with gratitude,
V.O.G
Regine says
Hi V.O.G.,
That‘s perfectly fine, as far as intentions go, and I will incorporate it into your blessing.
Thanks for asking first about your blessing offer, and yes, I will have your blessings. Thanks! 🙂

Hi Regine,
Please include me in this week’s blessings. For a specific intention I, too, am looking for some help in finding a romantic partner right for me.
Thank you.

Hi Latebricola,
Will do, including the intention. 🙂

Greetings and thanks from the Three Pennies, Regine! Please put us on your list again. 🙂
Our road trip to visit Shirleen went better than anticipated, and we did indeed have a lovely, if very short, visit. Shirleen lives in a 5,000 square foot luxury home on a forested hillside overlooking a lake. Deer and the occasional bear can be seen from the windows and patios. There are a total of six elderly women patients, and a Romanian couple own and operate the establishment. The staff is also Romanian. They are warm and caring, and Shirleen is delighted to live in such a well-run, peaceful place. Everyone in the home looks forward to a live harp concert this week. I cannot imagine a better environment.
Meanwhile, for my lung health issues, I’ve been unexpectedly moved up in the medical appointment queue. Rather than appointments in August and beyond, I’ll be seen in mid-June.
Thanks from all of us, and may you also be blessed!
Valerie
Regine says
My three favourite pennies! :-))
Valerie, thanks a lot for the update!
What you‘re telling about Shirleen‘s new home… that sounds wonderful! It‘s hard to imagine such places (still?) exist. I‘m very glad Shirleen found such a great place (or probably that you and your siblings found such a great place for her).
I‘m also glad to hear that your trip went well, and most importantly, that things are gaining momentum about your health issues! Mid-June isn’t that much further away, thankfully.
Thanks for your blessings, and please say hi to Trevor, and if you have the space for it on your next card to Shirleen, tell her I‘m very glad she found such a wonderful home. 🙂 (and if not, no worries!)

Hello Milkyway, this is the first time I’ve asked to be included in your blessings. I’d like some relief from my addictions. I am trying to view the habits from higher in the astral plane – so that the habits can be viewed with indifference rather than desire. I would welcome blessings on my efforts. Thanks so much for offering this service!
Regine says
Hi Helen,
I‘ve put you on the list, including your intention. For what it‘s worth, I think you‘re onto something with your strategy of going higher up the plane! Hope this will help you reign them in,
Regine

Hello Regine
I would be happy to have another blessing this week, particularly related to health, family situation, and finances. My cat could also use a blessing for her health if appropriate. Thank you. And thank you for doing this.

Hi A,
You‘re very welcome. As I said, you‘re all doing me a favour by signing up!
A blessing for your cat‘s health will be perfectly appropriate. 🙂

Hello Regine,
I am a new commentor on your blog. I read about these blessings on ecosophia.dreamwidth.org and wanted to sign up. I would love to be included in your weekly blessing. I would specifically like to be blessed in the area of relationships – both with myself and others. I would like to experience positivity in my most cherished relationships, particularly in those that have gone south (if they are salvageable and good for all parties in some form). I would like to feel loved and accepted by myself and others.
Regine says
Hi Sia,
Welcome! 🙂 So noted, including your intention.
Thanks for signing up,
Regine
Scotlyn Sabean says
If I am not too late, please include me in this week’s blessings. 🙂
There has been lots of *good* learning since last we spoke. Your contribution was very helpful.
Take good care!
Scotlyn
Regine says
Hi Scotlyn,
It‘s good to hear from you – and I could say the same in reply about learning and your contribution… 🙂
You‘re not too late at all. I generally try to check the messages one last time on Wednesday before I do the blessing, but the time for the blessing varies with my schedule, and I also can‘t guarantee I‘ll always be able to do this last check – hence the „last call“ on Tuesday, just to be on the safe side. If I see a comment on Wednesday before the blessing, I will of course include that person!
Hope your week is being good to you,
Regine

Hello, Milkyway,
I’d be most grateful for another blessing this week; life feels quite unsettled at the moment. Thank you.
