+++ This Blessing List is now closed. Please sign up here to receive blessings again next week. See you there! +++
Thanks to everybody who signed up this week – may these blessings bring you good things!
Once a week, on Wednesday, I send blessings to everybody who has requested them for the current week.
The process is simple:
If you would like to be included in the blessings, leave a comment to the current blessing post by Tuesday at the latest.
I will perform the blessings at some point on Wednesday, and send them to everybody who has left a comment by Tuesday.*
All times listed are in German time (i.e. EST+6, apart from the few weeks a year when the US switches to and from daylight savings at a different time than Germany). Please plan accordingly.
I will only send blessings to the people who have explicitly requested them in a comment to the current week’s blessing post. I.e. if you would like to receive blessings again next week, you will need to comment again.
You can also request blessings for other people (or, for that matter, for pets, plants, …) – as long as you have their explicit consent, or you are their rightful “guardian” (e.g. parents for their underage kids; legal caretakers for people with dementia; owners of pets or gardens for their pets or gardens; …).
So… if you would like to receive my blessings this upcoming Wednesday, or if you have any questions, please leave a comment below!
You can use your real name, a nickname of your choice, or comment anonymously.
About the blessing itself: I send a “generic” blessing to everybody on the list, also including intentions for health, protection, and divine guidance. For those who have a relationship with a specific deity or deities, I respectfully ask for blessings from their respective deities, too. (If you don’t feel comfortable sharing your personal religious beliefs on a public forum, there is no need to list them. I trust that your personal deities will know who you are and will, hopefully, respond favourably. 🙂 )
If there is anything in particular you’d like me to focus on, you can add that to your comment (in just a few words, please!). I will then include this intention specifically for you, but also keep you in the general blessing.**
And if you’d like to know more about the blessings first, you can read the behind-the-scenes-take here – but don’t forget to come back and sign up afterwards! 🙂
One final note: I’ll do my best to approve comments in a timely manner, but I am not glued to my screen. It might occasionally take a day or two for your comment to be approved. Thanks for your patience!
* I’m not dogmatic about this deadline. The Tuesday cutoff is simply to make sure I see your blessings in time, and they will be included for sure. Any comments left after midnight on Tuesday (German time) might or might not be read before the blessing, and might or might not be included.
** I’m not a physician or other health professional. If you have any health issues you’d like me to include, I’m happy to add them – but please remember that a blessing by a random stranger on the internet does not replace a competent medical treatment. Just sayin’…

Hi Regine,

Atmospheric River says
Hi, I would love to request a blessing for this week, while I have a chronic health condition, right now I am over the top with extreme reactions to plant pollen, trees and grasses, I get physically sick, virus outbreaks, from overreacting my immune system to it; over the top swelling, skin that looks like chemical burns, and respratory/lung involvement from it
Regine says
Hi Atmospheric River,
Oh dear! Ordinary hayfever can be quite a burden, but this sounds like something else entirely. ;-(
I’ll certainly send you a blessing. All the best to you,
Regine

Valerie says
Hi Regine,
Greetings from me, Trevor, and Shirleen! Yes please, we’d appreciate blessings this week.
Shirleen landed herself in the hospital last week with heart problems, and is headed for hospice. It isn’t as bad as it sounds: She amazingly had the wherewithal to phone emergency services to get her to the hospital in the first place, and it’s her dream to be eligible for hospice. This has gone MUCH better than anyone could’ve hoped. It looks like there is a “family home style” hospice a 15 minute walk from where my youngest sister lives.
I also turned up in the Emergency Room of our local hospital the same day, before knowing anything about my mother, Shirleen. Weird, eh? Anyway, classic heart attack symptoms, but was discharged with referrals for followup after many hours of testing and observation. Long story short, a blessing to help determine and resolve the cause of whatever my problem is would be appreciated.
Thanks as always, and may the blessings you most want find you!
Valerie
Regine says
Hi Valerie,
What a tale! 🙂 It sounds as if somebody has been looking out for Shirleen. Please tell her I said hi, and I hope hospice will turn out to be even better than she was hoping for! 🙂
I have to admit I‘m a bit confused now: Were the classic heart attack symptoms yours or your moms? I.e. did you both have heart issues at pretty much the same time? (Not that it matters much for the blessing, it would just be another weird coincidence!)
I‘ll make sure to include the intention for you.
Thanks,
Regine
Valerie says
Thanks Regine! The classic heart attack symptoms were mine; Shirleen simply lost consciousness while alone in her apartment and had a bad fall. It was a miracle she managed to call for help. The cause of her fall was, though, a heart issue that caused her to faint and badly bruise her head and neck.
I’ll give her your good wishes next time I talk with her on the phone. She will be delighted!
Regine says
Ouch. Shirleen must hurt all over, mustn’t she? And about your scare… I just hope you’re fine now, and you’ll find whatever caused it, and (more importantly) a way to make sure it doesn’t happen again!
Take some extra care of yourself this week, you definitely deserve it after last week!
Regine
