… just one more small step:
I need to make sure it’s really YOU who signed up for my email notifications.
So head over to your inbox right away, and click on the confirmation link in the email I just sent you.
And while you’re there, also consider whitelisting my email address mail@thehiddenthings.com, to ensure my emails will end up where they belong (= in your inbox), and not in the spam folder.
PS: You’ve got no clue what “whitelisting” even means, let alone how to do it? No worries, it’s actually quite simple:
To whitelist an email address simply means to tell your email provider/email software that you actually WANT to read my emails, and that they aren’t unwanted spam.
The actual process to do this differs a bit for each provider, though. So instead of giving some generic advice here, I suggest you open your search engine of choice and enter “whitelist email in XXX”, with XXX being gmail, outlook, or whatever email provider/tool you are using. Then proceed according to the instructions you find.
